Hey everyone. I noticed recently my bumble bee cichlid is holding what looks like eggs in her mouth. Kinda staying near the surface and avoiding everyone else. Not sure who the father is. I have a mixture of cichlids not even sure about who's male or female in some cases. But main question is should I move her to another tank. Or will it be too stressful on her?

I wouldn't bother separating her especially if you aren't positive on who she spawned with.

Add a bunch of piles of small rocks inside your tank, and a few lucky fry will survive. I use to get hybrids in my mbuna tank quite a bit. And due to the fact fish like that should never make it into stores i never stripped or removed the females. But to give them a slight chance(and to feed my curiosity of what they would look like) i added the small piles, and let the couple fry that survived each time just live in my tank. Just an idea :)

I've recently saved 6 lil guys. One got chomped through the breeder net tho and didn't make it. That was the first 2 I found. One by one I saved all that I saw. I'd rather move her before they come. Then put her back. Like I do with my crayfish
