i kno this forum is supposed to be about monster cats but whats about bumblebee catfish what are ur guys thoughts on them. i got a species that looks like a bullhead only way smaller with the yellow/black body pattern ill try to catch a pic on him ne1 got any more info i think its the species that gets 5-7" big but idk

if it gets 7-8" then that sounds like P. bufonius. But until we get some pics it could also be M. iheringi.

I had iheringi once but it got trapped in a log and when i pulled the log out one time bones and a little skin came out. I like them. I think they are interesting catfish.

bass
i think its probably pseudopimelodidae. Thats way more common. And fits better with the bullhead look.

But i cant ignore the posibility of it being a bagrid sp. seems like everyone is getting them now.

its the top picture but mine has larger spots of yellow than that one it had full body stripes but ya its the top one definatly with longer whiskers has 6 of them barbels i guess theyre called i like him tho he attacks my larger fish that swim near the mouth of his cave

i have a 1.5in bumblebee and he always hides but when i drop blood or black worms in he comes storming out pushing my 3in clown loach out of the way
