I bought a 6" Ornatipinnis four days ago to go with my Dehelzi and came home this past weekend to find him dried out and stuck to my kitchen floor. The only positive is my fish connection is going to sell me another one at the same price of 20.00 bucks. I have cut some egg crate and have completely covered the top of my tank so there are no escape areas. There is nothing worse than coming home to find one of your favorite fish dead on the floor.

I am sorry to hear that but yes they are excape artists, just tape the holes if need be, i am glad your getting a new one though.
My polys would darted to the surface for air and would constantly hit my tank cover. These guys have a tendency to fly out the tank like a fox. I'm fortunate to not that have happen to me yet.
Sorry for your loss, but look at it this way - be glad you learned the lesson now, instead of when you'd had him for years and he was pushin 13'' and counted as a family member. Good luck with the new one
