bump on mouth

my FH has like a white bump on his mouth. it growing (i think).
i thought it will go away, did a water change and it got smaller and less white. went to my friends house, came back and so did the bump.
i had the exact same problem with my oscar, i was scared and didnt know better so i just returned the O, every time i go back to the store i see that he has the bump.
IS THIS GOING TO SCAR MY FH FOR LIFE??
and how can i get rid of it?!?

its hard to see cause of the cam, but you can see a white blob thingy under his lip

so i fed him some pellets. that why his mouth is open

read something that NLS was doing this to fish if thats what you feed. I've had it happen to my carpinte too and still can't figure it out.

i wouldnt imagine the "best food on the market" would be causing something like this.

is it a harder lump or cotton like?

i had similar problem with my jing kang awhile back. Started as white cottony growth, turned red and got nasty as all hell. i would suggest treating with metro if you start to see red.
