My female hystrix has these clusters of bumps developing. She has several now after I first noticed *one* cluster a little over a weekish ago (I think?). Now she has 5, more on one side of her disc than the other. They are only on the top (not on her belly or underside of her disc), and upon closer inspection they are almost clusters of smaller bumps....not just one large smooth bump. She's doing great otherwise, acting normal. Any ideas as to what these are? I've touched them, and they're not soft, but they're as hard as her skin I'd say...sort of tough. ???
