Hello MFKers,
I have kept a pair of motoros for 7 months in a 6x2x2.5 220 gallon. The 7 inch male has developed bumps on his back and one has become prominent.
Ammonia and nitrite have remained 0 and nitrates are between 5 and 10ppm.
Filtration is 3 hob 400gph's with bio wheels, 2 marineland canister 530s and a FX6.
They get fed massivore delite pellets twice a day.
80 gallons are changed every 5 days or less and when nitrate tests 20 or more I do a double water change.
Substrate is smooth gravel, vacuumed regularly, and tank mates are a 13 inch female motoro, 12 inch silver arowana and 4 giant danios.
I have hard city water at 7.8 to 8.0.
Has anyone seen this before?
Any questions and comments are welcome.
Thank you

That is the camera right against the glass.
Tank raised, one year old in December.
No new introductions since the start and only feeding pellets. The danios are getting picked off about 1 or 2 per month, I have only seen the bigger female eat the danios.
