Burbots?

I think Wes (Rare Fish) in the vendor forum brought some in this year and they were not too cheap. I'm not sure who bought 'em but someone on here has them. You might send Wes a pm for more details.
I've wondered the same thing. I figured that it may be a bit difficult though with their need for cold water and potential size.
I have one of these guys. He used to be hardy when he was younger but not anymore I kept him in heavily oxygenated tank at this moment. Still refused to accept dryfoods but accepted frozen minnows.
we catch these all winter up here. they're tough but need cold water. i kept one all summer as a kid in a kidde pool in the shade and he did fine. i fed him fresh killed minnows and he ate well. end of the summer i released him back to the lake i got him from. they're pretty neat. if you kept them below 70f they will do fine. they have been known to get up to 30lbs. maines record i believe is 23lbs.
