burmese border loaches

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes, I do. I'm still trying to find more as I lost a few to the internal parasites I failed to prevent. Kubs happen to be problematic on my part. No pics though.

I just got some Kubotais, Rostratas, and Histrionicas. I'll get some pics when I move them out of quarantine.

I have a couple of the little buggers. (from petsmart believe it or not) Here are some pics.

I currently keep 6 Kubotai, and have an order of 10 Hystos coming up mid april....As Lupin stated, Internal parasites seem to be the downfall of the Kubs, but out of the 8 I have kept, the remaining 6 are flourishing, very active and extremly social!

Nuthman~

I had a few of these loaches. I never saw them! They spent all of their time huddled up inside an ornament. If you sat still for about an hour they would venture out. However, as soon as you thought about breathing, they would scurry back into hiding. I also got mine from Petsmart. I returned them when I found them $7 a piece cheaper (and healthier) from my LFS.

Wild!

Mine are all over the place.....maybe it is a matter of the shoal, I have so many Loaches in there, they are always moving! Never shy, I consider myself lucky then! Mine even take sinkers and Zukes from my hand...

I am hoping the Hystos I have coming, are not shy like your Kubotai!
