HI,

Channa burmanica are a dwarf species, imho the smallest together with lal cheng and bleheri.

I Dont have pictures, but have seen them once in captivity. Look similar to some gachua variants, and belong to this complex (imho).

wow thanks sir..can they be bred like the gachuas?

i belive (and iam sure brucki will correct me if iam wrong) that there closest relitive is the rainbow snakehead , so i would set up tank with same conditions , cant see any reason why they would not breed if there basic needs are catered for . hope you have some luck with them , i belive there are not many pics of them around and they are quite a rare find

thanks for the info sir :)any idea on the water parameters?

temp 20-24°C subtropical for year round keeping

if trying to breed from October until March let temp drop 16-18°C after march slowly raise temp to 24-26°C this will mimic what they would experiance is nature , i think water hardness as with most channa will not be critical but avoid extreams.

iam sure brucki or pascal could add much more info on theese ones
