Well, I decided to hold out for a long lens, probably the 300mm f/2.8 or the 200-400mm f/4. Hopefully, I can find a good used copy when theitme comes. :)

In the meantime, I've picked up the battery grip and a SU-800. :)
 
Well, I'm dipping into the vault to pick up a gently used copy of a tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 this afternoon. I've read just too many good things about this lens, and it's supposed to be a really great wide angle for a dx body. :) (back orders are super long)

This lens if as good as I've heard will fill out the "wide angle space" I have saved in my bag. :D
 
I'm always looking to expand my lens set and I had nothing wider than 18mm. I decided I'm going to save up for a 400mm so that will be later this year. Or possibly sooner, it's tax season. ;) :)

PS~~The 11-16mm is so wide, I think I can see my ears in a pic or two. :lol:
