Burrowing C. Azureus?

Ive had my C Azureus for about 2 weeks, but he has started disappearing into burrows which he makes under huge rocks. This just started a few days ago and He doesnt even come out to eat. Is this normal?

They do tend to burrow, and move things around to their liking..is it possible that there are some other tank mates he might not get along too well with? That could be the problem, kinda pushing him to find a safe place where he's comfortable and away from the other fish..just a thought.

The black fish in the second pic is what you're talking about? That's a black calvus, not an azureus.

I have one as well and it does do that. I thought I'd lost mine earlier this year, disappeared for 2 or 3 weeks, through water changes and all and one day just popped back up from somewhere.
