Have any of you all ever purposely buried food so that your rays can dig for it? I'm thinking about burying some pieces of shrimp so that it gives my retic the "hunting" feeling.

Does it eat shrimp already or is it only eating bloodworms?

It eats shrimp without abandon. Actually I think she would eat just about anything that I would throw in there. I'm going to cut up some shrimp and bury it and see if I can video her digging for it.
Maybe you need to feed more if your ray is constantly looking for food. Maybe its just really hungry

That could be. I'm going to start feeding an extra shrimp every day and see how that goes. She was growing really fast, but it seems like in the last few months, she's just slowed her growth quite a bit.
