i was wonder'n whats there growth rate? how long does it take them 2 get full size? whats a good food? is there any way 2 make his bristtles grow bigger or faster?

Mine love zuc's and algae. As for growth rate, mine put on about 2" in a year. You could probally push them, but I haven't tried.

bristlenose are slow growers maybe a full inch in about 3-4 months. I have a female that just reached adult size 5-6" and she about 2 years old. I have a pair right now that i got about 3 months ago and i stil have noticed only minimal growth. I feed lettuce, algea wafers and pellets.

Right now i have a tank with like 15 or so of them and those guys grow SLOW !! i feed them like crazy and they still grow slow..

yeah they are grow slowers and power feed isnt going to be any good for the fish. U can try though if u really want them to grow is to do frequent small water changes and maintain very healthy clean water, but again they are slow growers.

8 months from free swimming fry to adulthood, and potential breeding age.
Both males and female will display a slight redish/oinkish colour on the back of their heads when they are ready to breed. MAles as you will know get the bristles up their face. (some females get bristles around lip area, but not up face!)

Fed on cucumber, apple and sicking algae wafers/pellets.
They will not make a mess with the cucumber, against what some other owners believe. and they will grow very fast for you. I currently breed these fish and have over 300+ fry of varing ages.
getting 2 batches of fry a month at the month..and looking for increase 'productivity' amongst my workforce ;-p (as not all males are actively breeding. They tend to fight with each other instead)

If you have any question, ill be happy to answer if i can.
