A couple of pics. It won't tolerate anything in the tank. I've tried RD,Jaguar and a Texas. Strangely and thankfully when I do tank maintenance and water change it goes to the other end of the tank and just watches. 12" of attitude.

every try keeping him with a fw mangrove snapper? 2 beasts, might be able to tame them both.
 
Freakin awesome!!!!!!!! I hope mine get like that big. I bought 8 figuring I should be able to get at least a couple to adulthood
 
Not a normal butti.....(Unless they look different sometimes...I have never seen one like yours...) Here is mine...Also looks like an egg laden female to me...

That is the fattest Butti I have ever seen!!

Spizz why ya think it's different? The faded color? They get that way when they are adult mine is like that when he sleeps and stuff..

but man I have never seen one that robust.. I just feed hikari gold.. What do you feed it, Beefheart, Shrimp and Small Children?
