what size of tank would one need ?

any one?

what do i feed it?

Live foods, baby guppies, brine shrimp. I just rescued one from a stupid LFS that was trying to feed it flake. Poor thing was starving!!!

I prefer not to use the term butterfly goby, since there is a SW fish that is also called this (and is REALLY a goby) But then, waspfish is a bit too general, huh? Ive also seen Nandus nandus synonomous with V. depressifrons in some readings, but Im not sure that is true.

icthy- The site I linked shows vespicula and you have neovespicula. Odd eh?

is there any thing special i need to know?

All Ive learned is from the article I posted. Dont get stung, feed live foods, light brackish water, ambush preditors (will likely kill/fight with tankmates). Any thing else you want to know that I didnt cover?

nope:)

Another thing I should mention is that they are not bred in captivity. Therefore you will have a wild cought fish. They are hard to get for a lot of the year since they are collected in the dry season when water levels are lower. Thats not all that important, but interesting. One thing about that though, is they have been through a lot in thier travels here, so may be sensitive to poor water or anything stressful.

thanks
