I have a 1 inch butterfly knife keychain, asked a cop if it was legal, he said no cop would care about one that small 
It's like any other state gun laws, they're all different. I can't have a switch bld knife on me, but can have a knife that can carry a knife under 3" that isn't opened by a switch or trigger. That's why I carry a knife that is is spring assisted, it meets the law.
Before anyone argues that anyone that caries a knife is a wuss, and carries it to make him/herself fell more macho, it's always handy to have a knife. I have never planed to carry a knife to hurt someone, but more to use it.
