has anyone every had one of these and what do they eat?how big do they get?and will my rtc eat it?

Gotta be more specific. Is it the African butterfly? A top swimmer? Ha I wouldn't be worried about the rtc being eaten I'd be worried about it eatimg the other fish.

I believe they are bug eaters but I am sure you can get them on small pellets. Yes your catfish will eat it. RTC will get over 4 feet long and the butterfly fish only gets 4 inches...

Butterflyfish will take frozen flaked and even small live food. They're incredible jumpers so make sure you have a hood

Mine took about a week to get onto pellets. They go nuts for any live bugs. Hate water flow.

Mine loves his live crickets. But will also eat small floating pellets.
