ok so the lfs has a few buttifokeri and i was wondering could i do a female buttifokeri in with my jack dempseys and blood parrot and ornate pim catfish . i hear the females are less aggressive, is this true, or should i do no buttifokeri

They are extremely aggressive and get big, i wouldn't do it unless the butti is like 2 inches (ur jd's are 5" right?), but even then, with caution.

ya i meant in the 125, and my dempseys are around 5" and 6" now, but if i put that people will freak cause the 29 is severly overstocked but we are having issues with building the stand so the 125 is on hold for being cycled a little while. and ya the buttis are around 2 inches at the lfs
I have my butti in with various cichlids... she has been fine for a long time... depends on the individual fish. They can be mean, but it got lucky and have a mellow one.
That butti even at 2 inches could easily dominate a dempsey... it depends on how aggressive your dempsey is, if your dempsey can hold his own then it would be fine. 125 gallon is more like it, not a 29 gallon.
butti realyy badass fish..it will chase and tease other big fish..my 2 butti like to tease my 10inch florida gar..it never seem to afraid with large gar..
