Not sure if this is a problem or not - Butti has developed a reddish mouth and gum issue ... looks like he should brush more, but. His diet consists mostly of Krill and OSI pellets ... both reddish/brown/orange. Or is this some kind of weird fungus? Comments welcome! Thanks!

I'm not sure about the red mouth issue but are you sure you're keeping his water clean and filtered enough? The reason I ask is all his pock marks from Hole in the Head disease. A 55 gallon isn't going to be able to house a Butti for too much longer either unless you want to stunt him. Looks like he's already having issues :(...good luck with him.

Take some pics to your local lfs and see if there is someone that knows alot about diseases? Good luck.
