Why do I keep having bubbles present at the surface of my water? This is happening to my 55 gallon and 180 gallon.
Water parameters are around:
0 PPM Ammonia, Nitrite
10-20 PPM Nitrate
6.8-7.2 PH
78 Degrees for the 55 gallon
86 Degrees for the 180 gallon

Any inputs and how to get rid of it? Thanks!

I only usually see that if I have medicine or something in my water. Or if my carbon is really old... I'm sure you do a lot of water changes, so I don't know if another one would be the solution or not.

I do have carbon in my filters but I do around 25%-30% water change DAILY!
Anyone else?

i think its something called oxygen :D

Yes what Mystus Said. Anyone??

fatty tissue floating on the surface. try passing a paper towel very close to the surface of the water so that only the fatty stuff clings to it.

what are you feeding?

Just Raw Shrimp, occasionally stuffed with Hikiri Pellets.

Anyone?!

This is an organic contaminant which is on the surface. Probably fat and/or protein. Both will unfold and interact with one another when moved to the surface and exposed to the atmosphere (just like in a protein skimmer). You will have to conduct more frequent water changes and find a way to skim the surface.
