Looking to take a step up in size. Already have 2 90g setups (mbuna and NA/SA) and want to move into the 180-210+ range.

Most indepth build posts say it's really not cost effective to DIY unless you're going like 500+, but seeing what people are asking for on Craigslist for a 55g, let alone 180+, can't imagine DIY would be much more expensive.

Plus, I'm looking for "reef-ready" style: already drilled for use with sump, don't want extaneous hoses draped in the tank. Plus, love sumps! Most everything I see on CL is standard glass/acrylic non-drilled.

I'm thinking DIY may be the way to go because I can spread out the build cost as long as necessary - just build as I have extra money - instead of dropping 350-400 at one shot.

Thoughts?

350 for a 240g is a good deal.

nah a steal would be like 1$ a gallon meaning 240$ or cheaper lol XD
