I don't normally do this, but for the SECOND TIME i have been mislead by the popular flower horn seller David Leuken of FENGSHUI AQUATIC , and I want to give other potential purchasers a heads up.
Over the last few years I have bought quiet a few fish from him, however in the last year I received one batch of "short body persei" cichlids. David pressured me "to get them now very rare" I was very excited, and when they arrive I received three weak Persei Juveniles with several pinched/deformed spines (NOT TRUE SHORT BODIES) . I had spent a few hundred dollars bringing these to canada, and was very disappointed. When I brought this up with David, he just replied with a "Ok thanks bro". NO apology, no offer for credit or refund etc. David is very experienced in the flower horn world, and knows very well that a pinched spine deformed fish is NOT a true short body (which is a healthy fish)
I gave david FENGSHUI AQUATIC a second chance and ordered in three female " LEMON YELLOW KKP" however one was DOA (this happens i know) the problem was that when I told this to david, he took several days to send the money for a refund back and I had to keep asking him for it. Secondly, The fish turned out to be Normal Very low quality drab colored KKP. AGAIN, I spent hundreds of dollars on these fish that I could only now literally give away.
I brought all of the above up with David, and he refused to take responsibility, refused to apologize, and refused any form of credit or discount or refund. After years of loyalty, I am extremely disappointed in this. I believe David / FENG SHUI AQUATIC's growth as a seller has lead him to lower his quality of business skills and products.
PLEASE absolutely INSIST on QUALITY VIDEOS and Pictures of your fish, as well as a CLEAR GUARANTEE as to what you are getting when purchasing,.
I can also recommend other sellers who are credible, and trustworthy. If you have any questions please PM me, and PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD to help protect other buyers, and force sellers to uphold to a standard that we deserve for spending all this money, and take responsibility for quality customer service, its their job.
