Obviously there are a ton of threads about how to repair a tank... Long story short Im wondering what you think it's worth

It's a 110 gallon with a cracked bottom

Glass aquarium

The owner said "No. I bought it of cl and rebuilt it. The glass is thick so I think it was originally a reptile tank "

Kind of alarming....

Was planning to replace the bottom glass if I could get the tank cheap enough.
What are your opinions?

And thick glass is subjective. I thought terrarium glass was generally much too thin to reliably hold water.. which is why they all say "NOT FOR AQUARIUM USE!" on them. Lately at the PetcoSmarts of the world they have been selling totally different designs with trays etc on the bottom so you CAN'T try to make it a fish tank.

Reptile tanks have thinner glass. Idk what he think he is talking about. There is no outward pressure on a reptile tank. A tank full of water is totally different. If you want fish then don't get it.
