Buying a Green Asian Arowana

Hello,

Locally to where I am there's a green asian arowana for sale on craiglist. Is it safe to buy? We can exchange the fish within the country right? Just that they are banned from importing.

Ok thanks.. that's really sucks. Although I know of a fish store that have a really large (almost 3') rtg arowana... wonder how they got away with it.
 
it's a RTG or it just a WTT jardini? BTW some people will try to sell their jardini as a green arowana!
 
I've seen lfs selling regular green arowana's whereas it is legalized and looks almost like an asian green arowana but more different in looks.

Sorry I don't really know the difference :) I just started looking into arowana couple weeks ago since I was given a ~15" silver. I wanted to get another one so I started looking on craiglist and aquabid. That's when I'm expose to all sort of arowana species.
So what's WTT? do you have a picture of it?
