Buying fish online

Im thinking about buying fish online, but am kinda nervous about it. Im more worried about the quality of fish and being present during arrival. Im having a really hard time finding Dats in the San Francisco Cali area.

Anybody know of an area or shop to buy dats here?

Can anybody offer some helpful online hints or suggestions for this newbie?

Anybody got some good, bad, or fugly stories regarding online shipped fish?

Thanks redtail, I think the "live arrival guarantee" is pretty cool. I've also seen enuf of him online to realize he is the real deal. :)

NP. All our online sellers are actually good and reputable. We wouldnt let them sell if we think theyre fly by nighters.
 
ive dealt with rehoboth aquatics and rare afishinado theyre great guys and always heard great things about fugupuff
 
I've bought (often multiple purchases) from just about every seller in our Buy and Sell forum and some more.

If in doubt, ask for pictures of the actual fish, and make sure ALL details are taken cared of.

Any policies, guarantees, etc that may effect your purchase must be noted.

Arrange a shipping date that convienent with both you and the seller. Remember, if the seller ship the fish Monday, you have to be at the destination address Tuesday morning.
 
Great tips Ming..I apologize for not being able to point those out. I guess its so second nature to me that i forget to mention them to someone new to the online seller game.

nobody has a bad shipping/online story???
