Well, I bought some fish from an MFKer this past weekend. It was a great deal until the fish died five minutes into the trip. Apparently they were fed right before I picked them up. Well, they did their business in the transport box and the build up killed them right away. They fellow MFKer said he would refund my money. Well, I've been calling all week and he won't get back to me. I've left him countless PM's also. Now he's even changed his phone number. My question is - how long do I give him to answer before I get pissed off? I haven't dropped his name here, so please give some advice. I'm upset that I have no fish and now I'm down $85. Thanks.

Honestly i dont think he needs to refund the money. When you picked up the fish what condition were they in? If they looked like they werent going to make it you should have not bought them. But if he agreed to refund it go after it put him on blast. Just my opinion.

also i dont think the fish would die that quickly from doing his business in the box (if it was healthy)

on the other hand, avoiding u is not very cool

Please keep personal issues to PMs only. Airing dirty laundry on the forum never leads to anything positive. We have a Marketplace feedback option for reporting bad dealings.

Sorry to hear you lost your fish.

its just like buying a used car, some people go by the brake light warranty....once your brake lights come on, you are the new owner. others say...any problems give me a call. avoiding you is rediculous though. 5mins and you didnt turn around? what kind of fish was it? transport box? what water did you guys place it in? dramatic temp changes? battery operated air supply? i think there is a few other issues that may have came into play here. 5min....is really quick, something went wrong real fast. the poop issue is far fetched.

Cant imagine some poo in the bag would kill a fish in 5 min.I bag a few hundred fish a year and sometimes even after fasting, they poo and dont die. What kind of fish?how many?how big a bag?

5 minutes in a bag won't kill a fish even with waste. i don't feel the OP is giving all the info. JMO

Changing a phone number over $85 sounds a little fishy (excuse the pun).

Could be other bad deals too (?)
