could someone briefly tell me how to tell a normal motoro from a marble motoro?

Regular motoros will have an even base color of tan/brown with even circular dots.

Marbles can have pattern inbetween the spots and their spots also tend to be irregular shaped.

If the ray is a pup the pattern between the spots may not be visible, but, if its spots are irregular, there is a good chance it will turn out to be a marble.
