I’m wanting to buy floating plants for my 5 gallon to reduce hair algae, I saw some plants on amazon and I’m wondering if buying plants from amazon is a good idea since they have cheep shipping, Or should I buy them from at different online place?

What would be a good floating plant for a fluval spec v? I feel duck weed would get into my mini overflow. I’m thinking dwarf water lettuce or frog bit.

Bought mine from eBay and came out well. Just make sure u buy from a reputable seller. Could try some frogbit.

My lfs had some small water lettuce but it looks dry.
Gotcha, that could be a pain if it doesn't recover. Live plants/animals from amazon are from third party sellers so it's similar to eBay. I'd just stick to listings that seem to have a lot of reviews that are mostly positive reviews.
Also dwarf water lettuce should be fine, but if I remember right I think dwarf lettuce is the same species as the large one.
