Buying praziquantel

Hi,

I know many people use praziquantel for stingrays. I am wondering if there is a certain type of brand/mixture i have to get specifically for these animals? If anyone could link me to a shop that sells it, that would be great.

I don`t have any problems at the moment, but i just bought a wild caught P. schroederi and would like to treat him before i later move him together with other rays.

I finally found some info. "Prazi pro" seems to be the one i want. But about the dosage - i see people mentioning x2 and all the way up to x4 dose. What would you say would be a reasonable dose to use with a wc ray that seems fine (been 3 months in quarantine), but just as a precaution?

if my memory is correct I think its 4g per 1000L, I use 14g on each of my systems which are 3500L. My ray was getting painfully thin through not eating but 4 to 5 days after she was eating strong again.

Yes it's prazipro in powder form. Little hard to dissolve but the best way is put the powder in a pantyhose and swish it around.

You cand break it down and help to dislove in water by mixing a small amount of vodka or Isopropyl alcohol. I buy pure powder prazi off ebay. I use vodka.

Can you eliborate on your technique? How
Much vodka to prazi to water? Etc etc.
