buying scrubbies locally

I went to a dollar store down the street from me yesterday. I'm sure most of you know they sell 6 scrubbies for a $1. The reason for this post is, I was told by a cashier there, that managers of the dollar stores can order boxes of scrubbies for customers. I didn't get a price, but I'm sure it'll be the cheapest solution for scrubbies available. I mean come on 6 for a dollar is pretty cheap by itself. Those who are looking for scrubbies, call a dollar store near you. Even if they don't stock them, they should still be able to order you a box.

yep i bought my scrubbies loacally 6 for a dollar is cheaper than a certain person on here (sorry zenzzo)

i never did order a box but i bought about 40 packs of 6 lol

Zander, I bought everything they had. I spent $10 and it was more then enough. I how long to they last? Do you clean them every once in awhile, replace them, or leave them?

Phill, I was in the same boat I had no idea what they were and could not find anything under scrubbies on google. They're actually pot scrubbers. They work really good in wet/dry systems.

ive been notcing mine were getting kinda gunky but i fiddled with ym mechanical filtration and that should fix it

im pretey sure they dont degrade so i would say they last for a very very long time

if yours get gunky you should clean at most half of the scrubbers personaly i would clean more than a 3rd of my bio media at a time

anybody ever have trouble finding these nylon pot scrubbies? i have been to over 5 different places in my area searching and scheming to find these damn things, they dont exist haha

Meta, did you check a dollar store? If so, ask the manager if they can order them for you.
