My 5 inch clown died of white spot today, I treated the tank with two different medicines, I increased the temp and I did a number of water changes, it worked for my other fish but the CL, here's the last pic of the poor guy

Did you use any medicine to help the ich? If so was it natural or synthetic?? Makes a difference since clown loaches have no scales...

sorry for your loss, i always just use salt with my loaches.

I used salt first and after a week nothing happened so I went to my LFS and asked for the BEST treatment, it worked FAST for all my other fish but the clown just didnt recover

I lost three CLs recently due to ich. It was odd because I have over 35 CLs in the tank and only those three had ich; that was even before treatment. Thankfully the ones I lost were smaller ones(2 inches)

Copper and salt didn't help but I also didn't see spots on rest of my fish.

I've seen loaches get affected a lot worse than any other fish by ich I had a bad case not to long ago but managed to get through it. Sorry for ya loss bro. IMO salt and higher temps are better than most meds.

Agreed. Sometimes can't avoid meds, but for ich, heat with aeration and if needed salt, are pretty solid unless the fish can't handle the temps.
