C. Cincta

Hello Everyone,

I spent the better part of last night reading as many threads about Cincta as I could and absolutely fell in love with them.

Wetspot has a group of juvies less than 2" right now which is a bit smaller than I'd like. I wanted to know how often these come around and if I can assume correctly that Jeff/Shark Acquarium/East Coast Zoological Supply/Ichiban may have bigger ones available later on this year when pikes are in "Season".

If not, I may just have to jump on the ones from Wetspot.

Also, what can you share about them? Would a 6 foot 150 or a 6 foot 220 work for them? What about Tankmates...can they be ok with CA Cichlids (Paraneetroplus and Parachromis)?

The jest that I get from my past research is that they are high on the aggressive scale, about as high as the Venezuela's and Lenticulata's.

Just bought 8 of the juvies from Wetspot. Super Excited!!!

Lents and Cincta's in the same week! Separate tank of course!

I'd like to know about tank mates long term in a 6 foot 220 gallon.
