Took a bunch of pics after removing the latest set of eggs from the Mono's. Also recently added some more Parachromis to the tank. One step closer to the ultimate set up imo.....
P's and P's. The average size of Cichla and Cichlids in this tank is 10'' to even get added to this tank. Largest male Mono is 17'' maybe.

must get pretty wet during feedings. How well do the parents do at pushing all the other fish away from the nest?

They do an awesome job. These pictures are all of the others first time being on this half of the tank in the past four day's. As soon as I pull the rock the parent's are to concearned about where the rock went and then everyone else can then come over to this side of the tank. Needless to say the Mono's run this tank.
