Hey all,
I am looking for some big Cichla monoculus peacock bass. Gonna try my hand at breeding these guys. I would prefer a pair, but big singles are fine...I can vent them and match them accordingly.
As for distance....I live in Central NJ, but willing to drive the tri-state area to pick up, or would be happy to pay for shipping.
If you have one, or a couple, please PM me here on MFK.
Thanks in advance.

PS---Of course I would be interested in other species as well :D

i pm'd him for you.I seen this in person yesterday and its really nice man
Cool, thanks. I PMed him, too.
How is that eye? Also, do you think the p-fin is deformed from a genetic disorder or injury?? I want only "perfect" fish as breeders, otherwise the genetic deformity will become proliferated and lead to poor offspring.

the eye is just a "dot" and imo its just from bumping into something as a juvi or something. It doesnt look like a disease scar or anything like that.you know how bass are-especially when eating.they freak out and give me baths everyday:ROFL:but mine have slammed into the lid-driftwood etc just cause theyre nuts.so just my opinion but this may be how his mono got the dot.who knows? Its a very healthy looking fish though.Rob is a very honest guy though so he would be able to tell you more than I could.I know his fish are always healthy though since I have bought/traded etc with him a few times.

Thanks man...I await his response.

I ordered 10 4-4.5 inchers from Rapps today for growing out, but I would like to practice with a couple that are ready to breed this year.
