You've got a male L96. Shape and colors are off for an L24. L24 would also have white/silver eyes. I wish I had friends like yours! Great fish.

Agree looks like pseudacanthicus spinosus which is L96 and L160

Definitely not a L24, eye shapes are wrong for that.
