I saw this video on you tube today about a c02 mess up. Is the water cloudy because there is too much c02 or is it the yeast and sugar mixture comming out of the bottle into the tank? Im assuming that this probly messed with the guys fish and plants. How any of you done this before with a diy c02 system?

yeast probably came out. if it was just too much co2 the tank would be clear with all the fish dead.
Yea, the yeast just came out of the bottle because he probably filled the bottle up to the top. That's why you should only fill it half way.
i've done this exact thing, my son or another kid knocked my diy co2 bottle over and almost the whole mixture went into the tank, killed about 8 fish and a number of shrimp. Probably could have saved them all, but it was during easter and i didn't even check on the tank that morning, I ended up just removing everything, rewashing the flourite substrate and basically starting over.
