I don't have any fish in my tank yet because I am growing out plants before putting any fish in... but do you guys think I'm overdosing my tank with c02? I have a 10 gallon tank I use a fluval mini-pressurized c02 kit (20g) with and a dosing of flourish excel (just VERY little... the suction thingy full) every day. I leave nutrigrow lights on 12 hours a day. What do you guys think? And is c02 bad for fish?

If you don't have any fish in the tank then run the co2 to it's max! I have no fish in my 10g right now and my drop checker is bright yellow. Once you introduce some creatures you want to lower your co2 levels.

If you plan on having fish you are going to need a drop checker with CALIBRATED 4dkh solution (not tank water as recommended by the drop checker manufactor)
