Hello all,

I am new to posting but have been checking out the forum for a little while now. I have a 150g fresh water with an FX5 & C530. I bought the C530 new about a year ago. It has always seemed to spit micro bubbles every few minutes. I have tried removing some of the media here recently with no luck. Once a day I pump the darn thing up and that seems to help for a little while, but within 24hrs it seems to be back to its old ways. Most research I have found pertains to the FX5. My main reason for the FX5 is that it was used and super cheap ($150). I was told it is about 18 months old. It looks that old and no micro bubbles from it. It seems a little picky to be concerned about bubbles in otherwise crystal clear water, but what can I say... OCD kicks in sometimes :)

Any suggestions?

James

My C360 did this and Marineland was no help, saying that it was normal for up to a week at a time after servicing the filter. I returned it and got a Fluval, never looked back....
