After having a bit of a re-shuffle in the big tank I am after a new fish to live with the JD and the Midas.
Can people recomend suitable fish and advise on ones to avoid. I have been looking at Vieja sp. in particular.
I don't really want to upset the harmony too much - advice pls.

180 is a nice size and should be able to house a few big hitters.

I have a 150g and have quite a few guys in it including my Midas. I do know that I will have to eventually weed through them but until then its going well!

I also have a Lyonsi, Pearsei, Guttalatum, Syn, Bifa, Frontosa, Syno Cat, Pike, JD, and a Redtail Black Shark.

The Midas is the biggest jerk of the group. He chases the Lyonsi and the Pearsei the most but will go after any of the small guys too. The Dempsey is second in command but he is a hidder and Im bored with that so hes 1 on the soon to remove list. The Red Tail was supposed to be next but hes calmed down a ton since I moved everyone into the 150.

If you add anything to what you have make sure its bigger than the others. That way it won't get beat on.

just some info ug filters do more harm than good in the long run

Why?

Nice escondido btw, I can get hold of Texas and the LFS has an argentea also. What I would really like is a blackbelt but they are not that common around here. So i have a few options available I just wanted advice on fish to avoid more than anything, at the moment the Midas seems placid enough, I have 5 good size silver dollars in there so there is no major agression to one single fish.
