Is it possible to keep a pair of rainbow cichlids with a pair Cryptoheros Myrnae in a 4ft. community tank with tetras? tank will be stock with lots of driftwood and live plants.

should work fine IMO, only issues will be possibly at breeding time

personaly i would over stock the cichlids like you do rift lake speices. the fish will still breed and the damage will be minimal. so deepending on if you have 55,75,90 for a tank.
you could add 2 to 3 pairs of other mild manered cryptoheros or other small cichlid.
so yeah you should be ok
