I recently purchased 4 Texas Cichlids from my LFS. Well, 3 Texas and a 4th unkown. The first fish I follow around in the video is the unkown. It is yellowish tan with more reddish speckles and red shading towards the outside of its fins. Also as you can see the spots are not as distinct as in the Texas cichlids. The other 3 I think are all Texas cichlids although I can not tell which species exactly. As far as I understand the 3 different species of Herichthys I have found mainly has to do with their location but they also have different distinguishing characteristics as well. Please help me identify the unkown and which Texas cichlids I have (if that is possible at this age). Any other species info on the Texas cichlid or my unkown is greatly appreciated as well. Thank you in advance.

Well your video isn't that great, but to me it looks like it could be a Vieja type. Possibly argentea or regani. I couldn't get a good enough side shot to tell for certainty though.

yeah it looks like you've got an argentea in there.

WAHOO TY it is a Vieja Regani!! TY guys. It looks identical to this:

And sorry about the video quality, next time I will do better. Also today the Texas Cichlids are starting to show good colors and I think I have the Herichthys cyanoguttatus's.

DAMN dude you came up...cus the Cyano's are cheap, you gotta Regani for a Cyano price

I am pretty happy with it, because of some more variety but the $ saved is pretty cool too :)

I was going to guess it likely wasn't argentea because they usually have the defined "mask" over the eyes, even when small. But the video quality made it hard to tell. Glad you figured it out. Good score. :)
