These are all in my 265...

To put things in perspective-(all measurements are rough total length)

WC Carpintis is 7 inches
WC Festae is 6 inches
F1 Friedrichsthalii pair 6 inches
F1 RTM Male 7, female 5 inches
F1 Trimac 6 inches
F1 Nicaraguan Dovii Male (someone got a hold of his tail) 5.5 inches
Wild Caught (Pond) Costa Rican Dovii Female 5.5 inches
Wild Caught (Pond) Costa Rican Male Dovii 3 inches.
Convict 4 inches
Pictus Cat 6 inches

All Fish from Rapps & Conkel.

Not many aggression issues so far.

The pics were all taken tonight. I brough home my work camera (Canon 20D) with a telephoto lens to see if I could get better pics than normal if I stood about 40 ft back and took them. I changed the functions on the camera trying just about every damn setting there was...and it didnt really work. The pics look just as crappy as they do when im up against the tank. I admittedly know nothing about photography. Oh well...

I even put a 100 watt fluorescent and another hood light from another tank to get it brighter..for my next session, Im going to put 50,000 watt halogen lamps on top of the tank to light it up so bright I dont have to use the flash.

impressive

Except for the eye-glow issue, I think the pics turned out well. You even got a nice toothy shot of a friedrichsthali for 40 foot away, nice job. Cool fish, nice setup, I like the freddies best, then the RTMs next.

thats such a good collection.
good amount of aggression i'm guessing?

you've got some impressive fish

I know...I cant for the life of me figure out how the flash made their eyes like that from so far away.

The Freddies are my favorite as well. There is something so "prehistoric" looking about them. Only thing about them is that they hang in the top back of the aquarium in the dark 24/7, unless its feeding time. Very sinister acting as well.

Thanks! In all honesty, the only aggression is from the Trimac, and even then its only chasing. The Carpintis and Red Terror seem to break anything up if it does act like its about to get rough. I do expect that to change over the next 6 months.

great looking cichlids, especially the rtm

Thanks! The female has really started coloring up in the past few months and the Male has some really nice turquoise on his gill plate and back, but I cant figure out how to capture the colors correctly with this camera. The carpintis as well, has no gold as it appears in the pics...Its all shades of blue.
