Hello everyone. While I have kept aquariums for years, I am new to cichlids. I was introduced to them by an old friend, whom sadly I don't speak to anymore. However, I have been keeping them for about 7 months or so, and I am completely hooked. I look forward to learning from all of you who have been doing this for years, as well as sharing whatever I can. Hopefully this will help to fill the void I have from not being able to chit chat with my old friend about them all of the time. I currently have four tanks set up (thanks to my wife for allowing it), and plan on going to a 180 gallon within the next year. I currently own a Green Terror, Mayan, Convict, Firemouth, Oscar, Jack Dempsey, Cuban, Salvini, Red Tiger Mota, and a Texas that is supposed a Red Texas...but I have my doubts.
MFk most definitely fills the void for me.
