CA/SA people with Africans mixed

How many of you consider your main stock to be CA/SA but have a few Africans or other non-native species as well.

I have the following stock list:
2x JD's
3x Cons
1 Midas
1 Red Devil
4 Mbuna Africans

I tried mixing Cons,Jewels and a JD with Mbuna and the Mbuna killed them all.

Tried mixing Yellow labs with Green Terrors and Convicts and the Labs got killed pretty quick.

Mixed some cobalt blue Zebras with a Tiger Oscar about 8 years ago.....the ones the Oscar didnt swallow shredded his fins.

all Africans do is hide/fight/dig u will be much happier keeping it ca/sa they have much more personality it took me many years to figure that out most people like Africans for the color but........ Just leave them be

I mix Madagascans with Centrals all the time.
Fossorochromis rostratus , Stomatepia pindu and Tilapia bythobates also worked well in the past.
