Had to take Little Steve out to remove a broken "unbreakable" Marineland Stealth heater...man, if I get electrocuted by one more of these stupid things...anyways, he's getting hard to handle, not only is he strong but the dorsal armour on his neck is so sharp it cut my hand.

He's a P. trigonatus, Smooth-front or Schneider's dwarf, and that's all the pics I took before deciding I'd harassed him enough. He does not appreciate being picked up (or photo-graphed, looked at, etc...).

oh schnieders...
he is looking good. how to they compare to cuviers activity wise?
through research i have found that female schnieders and cuviers grow to almost an identical adult size with the cuviers at most 6" shorter.

Yeah, the record size for males 2.5m for males is waaaaay bigger than the average for males, which is 4-5 feet.
