torquay, devon, !!ENGLAND!!
i was just looking into keeping dwarf caimen and was wandering how bigger land area, water area, what type of filtration and stuff like that just basic info on keeping them.

also this would be for 2 young that i would get and grow them on in the same tank, would it be easier to make a room for them?

The laws are consistant throughout the UK, you will need a DWA licence, and I guess some kind of public liability insurance. The cost of the licence however can vary between 30 pounds to a matter of thousands- it depends on where you live (and the system is a joke). You will have to apply for a DWA licence to your local council, they will give you a price, they will then have to inspect the premises (a qualified vet) who checks to see that the animals are 1) secure and 2) you are able to keep them sufficiently.

sik man they look real nice, how big do the dwarfs get?

cuviers are 5ft, there are other dwarf crocs that vary from 5 and a half to 8 ft.

I went to a friends fraternity house when I was way younger and they had a Caiman and Carpet Python in the Den. I am sure it was not legal they got it in some market. But it lived in a kiddie pool and ate goldfish. I tried to touch it but it was mean as hells worst. It's been a while but I'd say it was 1.5-2ft / .5-.6m. Crazy "pet" to have for sure, good luck.

They will have a room if you put them in a tank they will brake the glass out and take the room I've seen a dozen or more broken tanks mostly smaller ones people learn after a 55 or two get emptyed on the living room floor

the smoothfront only gets an average of 4' for males and 3' for females in captivity. There are some 5' ones in the wild however. Spectecalds average 5-6" in captivity but in the wild I have seen them about 9' in Panama.
