Cake and coffee anyone?

I've been there a few times, and though the scapes really are nice, I highly doubt they know how to properly stock the individual tanks.
It's a shame, really.
The fish combos are absurd, and if you enter the place right after they open, there'll almost always be employees scooping a few dead fish from various aquaria.
I recall them keeping juvenile Cichla with misshapen goldfish, brackish Monodactylus with cardinal tetras (guess how long they lasted :headshake ), and miscellaneous fishes kept with turtles (who often took chunks out of the fish, and ate a good number of the smaller ones), amongst other things.
It wasn't uncommon to see only a single tetra or barb in a tank; either because the rest of the school had died/eaten, or because they preferred to have single individuals of multiple species in some random assortment for viewing pleasure.
The scapes were disappointingly bland in their plant diversity, but the hardscape was laid out quite beautifully. They did sell hardscape for a rather low price in the back IIRC, too.
They very well may have changed, as it's been a few years since I last were able to go, but I have my doubts.

According to the details on the video it was posted only 2 weeks ago, so a long long time since your last visit. It's current state seems ok but at the end of the day we're watching a video that someone else has made, they may have missed things, so maybe we're not getting the full picture, who knows?

From what I can see though it is very impressive, so maybe it is under new management and they've sorted things out since you were last there.

Check out this cafe in Seoul, South Korea. The underwater forest aquarium with the path is amazing.

My tanks look like amateur hour after looking at these.

I actually went down to my local greasy spoon earlier and showed the owner the video I posted.

He said he didn't have room for any big tanks, but he hinted that he was up for installing a couple of small ones if I could set them up for him to look just as spectacular as the ones in the video. He said that maybe he'd get more customers in too!

That was the part I had to admit defeat and tell him that if I set up his tanks, with my measly scaping skills, I'd probably scare his customers away!! Lol.
