Hey Everyone I just wanted to start a Progression thread
of my newest Pick up's from Snookn21
4 Little Rio Meta Orino's That I have to say are already a Blast to watch

They arrived on the 24th and I took a short video of them on the 25th
so I will post a new video on the 25th of each month to show their progression
pay no attention to the back wall behind the fish tank they are in my living room that is being renovated and once that is done I am going to be setting up my 400 gallon monster:naughty:

They was a bit stressed but they wasn't even in the tank a full 24 hrs when I took the video ! so I think they look Great :)

I want to give John ( Snookn21) a Big Thank you for Giving me the Chance to own
one of my Long time Dream fish .

I also wanted to thank all of the "Cream" brothers for sharing their knowledge on the proper way to keep Cichla , and also to Jcardona for Showing me ( with his video's ) the first Rio Meta Orino I ever saw and I have been Hooked Ever since !

Great looking Orino's bro. You'll have fun growing these guys out. The fun is only beginning. The tsunami's are always fun while feeding.

I also picked up a "couple" of orino's as well. By far the 4th favorite cichla I have ever owned.

Yeah, if you have any questions about cichla feel free to PM any of the regulars here in the cichla forum. We are all here to help out and share what we know about cichla.

Looken good Bro;)

They have only ate california black worms up until this morning, they finally ate pellets! But what the weird thing is
I tried crushed up aro sticks, massivore, bio gold plus they will mouth it but then they spit it right back out , they only pellets they actually eat are
Ken's fish Growth pellets 2mm size ( they have 50% protein ) which is nice so I don't have to crush up the larger pellets

I am really looking forward to watching these little guys become adults :)
they do already go into a frenzy when they eat so I can just imagine the Tsunomi's once they get a few pounds a peice :D LOL that will probably make for easy water changes huh!! LOL

I am seriously on cloud nine with finally getting some Cichla ! I am going to try and get me a couple ( 2 ) broko's soon
I really think they will look great together when they are grown ( the broko's will be in their own tank do to the orino's being 2.5 inches now )

It's so awesome that I know if i have any questions about pretty much anything Cichla that I have so many people with Years of experience that I know have
my back!

and also wanted to thank Justin for embeding the video for me , I tried 5 times and couldn't get it to work lol

and Now Drum roll Please ......... I am adding Cream to my Sig!

congrats! Hope they fare well for you and grow into monsters.

Yep they definitely splash. I threw in some pellets yesterday morning and got so soaked I needed to change and was late

Thanks for the positive comments I really appreciate it !

They just got done eating some california black worms , are just chilling out with nice full bellys :-)
Tonight when I was feeding them I "pinched" up some of the black worms and held them with my fingers in the tank and at first they kinda hesitant but one swam up and started eating the worms and thats all it took the rest of them dove right in too :-)

I have noticed they have grown quite a bit in the short time that I have had them but from what I read they grow in spurts, I know they are one of the slower growing species but was wondering just on average what kind of growth should I expect to see in a years time ?
