Does anyone know of a URL that has a calculator to determine what glass thickness (non tempered) to use for building a tank with custom dimensions? I checked the garf site and didn't see one. There are plenty of sites that have a calculator to determine how many gallons you'll have by putting the desired #s in fields for Length , Depth and Height but nothing for figuring out the minimum glass thickness needed for an aquarium after it has been filled with water.

Ah thanx man. It's actually garf.org but for some reason I couldn't find the "tank builder" section. Musta been high or something LOL

This has worked for me for years and years:
Use a Safety Factor of 2 or more.
If link will not open click on bar above and install missing web component.

thanks a lot anything fish. I was looking for a decent glass thickness calculator online. Btw do you have any links on to calculate the weight of glass?

Edit: It says that the setup file can't be located on your server. Any tips?

The setup file needs to be on your computer and can be downloaded by clicking on the yellow bar at the top of the message screen. It only takes a few seconds. Try it again and post again if you can not btring it up.
