IS there another way to calibrate a Pinpoint pH monitor?

Like with Milk or Bottled water like Fiji that has a pH of 7.5 ...

Or another way ?? I am stuck at my house and cannot leave til after the LFS closes.. And want to calibrate my new toy :) and get an accurate reading on my Fresh water tanks :)

Brand new to Electric monitoring devices.. But figured calibrating with #7 fluid would be a pH of 7 as that is what the directions say.. so just thought I coudl use somehtin around the house.. oh no bottled water here so I have to wait..

But what else could I use.. ??

Eh.. there was an LFS open and I got the liquid solutions :) I didn't think they swere going to be open but I barely made :)

The directions only say to calibrate with one pH 7 standard?

Generally you will calibrate according to what pH you seek to measure. If you are measuring below a pH 7 you would calibrate with pH 7 and pH 4 buffers. If you are measuring above pH 7 you would calibrate with pH 7 and pH 10 buffers.
You need to use two buffers to determine the slope portion of the calibration.

Burt:)

So here is the next question.. Can i use the 4-10 to get a full spectrum??? Or only up or down?? Caue that will suck if not!!!
